Dining Hall

5/4/08 Floors are being finished.  Exterior walkways are in.  Construction is on schedule for a 5/15 opening.


12/10/07 Footings poured, with an appropriate truck!
 

1/12/08 Walls are up.

1/20/08 Conventional roofs are on.
 

1/27/08 Timbers up over main area.
 

2/2/08 Porches added, north and south sides.

Pre-stained redwood siding inspected by Pre-Camp crew.

3/09/08 Ready for roofing.

3/16/08 Ready for roofing, again.

4/05/08 Siding and roof are done.  Interior work continues.

4/19/08 Exterior ready for grading.

5/04/08 Getting close!

New crest on Cupola.

5/10/08 Interior nearly complete; exterior graded.

Look, ma.  No wires.  Riverland Energy has buried all the overhead wires in south camp!

Footings for 3 new flagpoles are in (circle).

Council Fire Bowl

5/3/08 The OA cleared out all the railroad tie seats and the log performance area walls.  Dirt work for the new seating and structures is pending the confirmation of no archeological remnants in the area. The Fire Bowl will be back available for the start of summer camp, 2008, with lighting, sound, and much-improved seating.
